They invented rosé. They perfected Chardonnay. Their blends are the gold standard for winemaking. There's no place like France for wine.
I started this blog because I kept hearing that my American friends were terrified to drink French wine. "It's so complicated!" they bemoaned, "There's just too much and the French are too different...I'll just stick with Napa." My heart sank. I knew there was a better way to go about this.
My French language journey began when I was 11 and continued all the way to college, where I majored in it. I've since lived there three times. The language and the culture came first and the passion for wine soon followed. The intent behind this blog is to share the unique magic of both in a way that's accessible to American audiences.
So whether you're a newbie or a wine ambassador, I hope you'll find something here for you!
A meal without wine is like a day without the sun.
